How do I configure Outlook Express 6 for Windows to connect to the Emirates Hospital & CosmeSurge server?
To configure Outlook Express to connect to the Emirates Hospital & CosmeSurge server:
- Start Outlook Express.

If the Internet Connection Wizard starts, close it.
- Click Cancel.
- A dialog box will open and ask, "The new Internet account has not been created yet. Are you sure you want to exit the wizard?” Click the Yes button.
- From the Tools menu, select Accounts.
- Click the Add button, and select Mail.
- In the Display Name text box, type your name as you want it to appear in messages you send.
- Click Next.
- In the E-mail Address text box, type your email address: your.email@emirateshospital.ae or your.email@cosmesurge.com
- Click Next.
- From the My Incoming Mail Server Is a _____ Server drop-down list, select POP3.
- In the Incoming Mail (POP3) Server text box, type: 83.111.90.60
- In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server text box, type: 83.111.90.60
- Click Next.
- In the Account Name text box, type your account name. (For CosmeSurge users this will be the whole email account: your.email@cosmesurge.com).
- Clear the Remember Password check box.
Important: Clearing the Remember Password check box means you will be prompted to enter your password when checking mail in Outlook Express. This is recommended for security reasons.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Click properties
- On the Server tab check on “My server requires authentication”.
- Click ok.
- Click the Close button.
How do I configure Outlook 2002/2003 to connect to the Emirates Hospital & CosmeSurge server?
To configure Outlook 2002/2003 to connect to the Emirates Hospital & CosmeSurge server:
- Start Outlook.
- Start the E-mail Accounts Wizard.
- If you have not previously configured an e-mail account, the configuration wizard will start automatically. If so:
- Click Next.
- Select the Yes option.
- If the wizard does not start automatically:
- From the Tools menu, select E-mail Accounts.
- Select the Add a New E-mail Account option.
- Click Next.
- Select the POP3 option.
- Click Next.
- In the Your Name text box, type your name as you want it to appear in messages you send.
- In the E-mail Address text box, type: your.email@emirateshospital.ae or your.email@cosmesurge.com
Note: Replace [your.email] with your email account.
- In the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) text box, type: 83.111.90.60
- In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) text box, type: 83.111.90.60
- In the User Name text box, type your account name. (For CosmeSurge users this will be the whole email account: your.email@cosmesurge.com).
- Clear the Remember Password check box.
- Click More Settings
- On the Outgoing Server tab check “my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
