To Dr. Kowatli
Dr Kowatli,
I hope all is well with you and your family. I guess by now you are back home.
I'm sure it has been wonderful being with family and old friends again.
I wish there was a way to let them know what a powerful impact you made on a lot of peoples lives here in Hot Springs Ar.
Not just because of the skills you were gifted with and worked hard to learn, but also because of your faith and the kindness you extended to all.
I don't think they could possibly imagine how many lives you touched while you were here.
I think of you often and what you did for me,and I am eternally grateful.
I just wanted to let you know you have a friend thinking of you and praying everything is well.
Take Care

To Dr. Max and Mr Ed
Dear Dr. Max and Mr Ed
I would like to share with you the experience my husband and I had as "frantic" grandparents bringing our injured grandchild to Emirates Hospital last night.
1. As I was at work my husband arrived alone with our 3 years old injured grandson, our ten year old grandson and our daughter at the hospital.
He went to the reception desk who upon seeing our grandson was bleeding escorted him immediately to the emergency room.
2. The receptionist followed him into the room and took all the pertinent information while a doctor was seeing our grandson.
A nurse gently led my older grandson outside with my daughter, and once establishing the fact she had a mobile on her suggested that they go to
Chilis restaurant and wait. As it was not a good idea for our older grandson witness the care given , as he was already frantic about his brother and very upset. .
3. The nurse that was assisting my husband and grandson,, was very caring, gentle and sympathetic while maintaining a professional competency.
The emergency room doctor immediately saw my grandson, and when I arrived was examining him. He was very gentle and very calm and talked to my grandson
throughout the exam. He told both my husband and myself that he would like to perform an x-ray and minutes later we were sent to x-ray.
4. The x-ray technician and the gentleman transporting our grandson, were very helpful and sympathetic. They went out of their way to make our grandson feel safe
and unafraid. The x-ray was completed quickly and we were sent back to the emergency room. At this time Dr Kaissar Yammine, our orthopedic surgeon, came in
and explained that our grandson would need surgery under a general anesthesia. I expressed concern over the fact my family had a history of Malignant
Hyperthermia (MH) and asked that I be allowed to call Dr. Max. Both doctors asked if I knew him and I explained I was with CosmeSurge which was the first
time anyone in the facility was aware that I worked there (I very rarely go to the Hospital)
5. When surgery was agreed upon, and Dr. Max had administered a sedative the anesthesiologist came. The anesthesiologist Dr Salma that cared for our son was
truly professional, yet caring at the same time. She and the anesthesia technician were obviously prepared for any emergency, and went down a check list to insure
that all items were ready in case of an emergency. Particularly touching was the fact the anesth read the Holy Koran before beginning the anesthesia, it was so
obvious that she and the technician took their responsibility very seriously. I do not believe either of them would have done anything different if the person
having surgery was their own family member.
During the brief few hours stay in the hospital after surgery (we left at 3am), the care by the nursing staff was exceptional. Of note also was the fact dispite
my grandson's surgery was an emergency the nurses insured that all proper consents were signed prior to the surgery being performed.
I cannot tell you how proud I am to be part of such an amazing team, the care given to my grandson was truly flawless. Each and every staff member whom we
encountered could not have given better care to their own family member. I cannot thank the staff of Emirates Hospital enough for the professionalism,
and humanity they displayed throughout our visit.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Oula for taking such good care of my daughter, Fyre. I live in the Seychelles but travel to Dubai often for shopping and medical care. Fyre, who has just turned 5 years old , had bad teeth and needed to have them done. However, as she'd previously had two teeth pulled out in the Seychelles she was terrified of dentists. As Fyre had lots of teeth to be done, I wanted to take her to a good specialist. Having never been to a dentist in Dubai I didn't know where to go. I was recommended 2 different dental clinics. The first one I contacted the dental specialist didn't seem too friendly on the phone and therefore I didn't feel like Fyre would be comfortable with her. The second one I contacted I found I had to chase them all the time and decided against using them. I then called Dr. Khayat from American Hospital who is Fyre's paediatrician and she referred me to Dr. Oula and assured me she was excellent.
I called Dr. Oula and found her very friendly and warm and thought my daughter would like her.
As soon as I met Dr. Oula I knew I had chosen the best one. She was very nice and took time in explaining everything to me and she made Fyre comfortable. I felt reassured with her and my daughter loved her. Fyre had to be put to sleep as she had lots of work to be done on her teeth and as a concerned mother I was both terrified and sad. Dr. Oula could see my sadness and not only did she look after my daughter but she also looked after me!
I must say all the staff I dealt with at the Emirates Hospital was very nice but Dr. Oula holds a special place in my heart. I will forever be grateful to her for taking such good care of my daughter. From now on, I will be taking my daughter to Dr. Oula for all her dental work. I will recommend Dr. Oula to my friends, family and anyone in my country who needs a good dental specialtist.
Once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Kind regards,
Etelle
Dear Dr. Sawaf,
More often than not, people tend to address complaints but less often are those who take the time to voice compliments. I am a 45 year old American citizen accustomed to very high standards in just about every field.
I have been a patient of Emirates Hospital for the last 2 years. Most recently, I had to unfortunately undergo a couple of surgeries. I have now well recovered and am compelled to convey to you the professionalism, the family-like atmosphere and above all, the human aspect that is so evident at EH.
It was my first time ever going under general anesthetic and stepping into a surgery room. I dealt with an army of people none of whom turned out to be short of commendable. On my behalf, kindly relay my deepest gratitude and thankfulness to the below team:
Sima Delghandi - An absolutely competent surgeon and phenomenally caring human being.
Nabil Khatib - Alleviating a patient’s greatest fear is this man’s specialty.
Hala Ahmad - Not only pretty on the outside but even prettier on the inside.
John D’Souza – The whole-hearted “Energizer Bunny” who thrives on resolving claims swiftly.
And finally, my warmest congratulations to you for fostering such a wonderful environment full of welcoming humans.
Sandra
