Mini-Gastric Bypass

E-mail Print

What is the Mini-Gastric Bypass?

More Effective than the Band, Safer than the RNY

The Mini Gastric Bypass (MGB) is a quick, safe, gastric bypass weight loss keyhole or laparoscopic surgery. The operation requires in most cases less than an hour, and less than 24hours in our Hospital. The success rate of the Mini Gastric Bypass (MGB) is 95% with minimal pain and can be easily reversed or revised.  Gastric bypass is the only operation known to reverse or cure diabetes.

The MGB is as safe as the ban and as powerful as the classic RNY bypass but unlike the RNY it is easily revisable (~45-60 minutes.)
