Preventative treatment educates children and parents about the importance of keeping teeth strong and healthy. Preventative treatments carried out include behaviour management and modification, fluoride treatment and aquamatic restorative therapy . In addition, our paediatric dentists will advise on good eating habits and home hygiene routine.
Interceptive treatment involves the guidance of teeth eruption and correction of malocclusion or an abnormal bite, by yearly intervention in order to improve future outcome. This is achieved by procedures such as the placement of a space maintainer, habit breaking appliance and removable or fixed orthodontic appliances.
Corrective dental procedures are designed to stop problems such as cavities and tooth decay before they escalate. Corrective treatments include fillings, crowns, extractions, pulp therapy and root canals.
