Dr Mahir Majid received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1981 from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. He underwent an internship in General Surgery from Al Karama Medical Centre from 1981 to 1982. In 1983 he completed two fellowships at the Manchester University Medical School, and FRCS Basic Sciences at the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK.
He is known for his vast experience, world-class knowledge, and dedicated care towards treating patients. With over 20 years of experience, he has taught as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, part of the New York Medical College, New York City, USA. In addition, he has held the positions of Consultant Attending Physician in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Hackensack UMC and Barnabus Health/Jersey
City Medical Centre in New Jersey, and Director of the Women’s healthcare Service, a private clinic in North Bergen, USA.
Throughout his tenure, Dr Mahir has been published in a variety of medical journals and received commemorative awards for his work. He is a board member of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and a member of the Advancing Minimally Invasive Gynaecology, National Physician Ambassadors Program, and American Board of Medical
Specialties in the USA.

Dr Lina Skutaite
Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecologist
Dr Lina Skutaite graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) in 1984, and went on to get a Post Graduate Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1989, both from Vilnius University, Lithuania.
Following this, Dr Skutaite attained her 2nd Professional Category Medical Diploma (equivalent to the MRCOG in British Medical System) from the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Lithuania, in 1996. In addition, she underwent a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery in New Delhi, India.
With over 23 years of experience, she been in the UAE for 9 years, and is an active member of the Lithuanian Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the European Society of Gynaecology (Spain), and the General Medical Council (UK). Dr Skutaite speaks Lithuanian, English, Russian, and Polish.
